How it works

Something you can follow from the first minute

The commonest reason for putting it off is not the price but the feeling of not being able to judge it. So everything happens in the open, with you watching.

In four steps

From walking in to being paid

  1. 01

    Come in

    Walk in, bring photo ID.

  2. 02

    Examined & weighed

Loupe, timing machine, acid test, calibrated scales – in front of you.

  3. 03

    Get your offer

A firm price with the arithmetic shown. No obligation.

  4. 04

    Paid immediately

Cash on the spot. Bank transfer the same day if you prefer.

Preparation

What to bring

Your piece

Uncleaned and unrepaired. Attempts at polishing lower the value more often than they raise it.

Photo ID

Passport or identity card. Required by German law for precious metal purchases.

Papers, if you have them

Certificate, invoice, service booklet, spare links, box. Every one can lift the price.

Time for a conversation

15 to 30 minutes. For larger collections, better to book.

Our promise

Three things you can rely on

We show you the arithmetic

Rate, hallmark, weight, deductions — every figure visible. Checking it yourself is welcome.

We do not push

Take the offer away, compare it, come back in a week. No “today only” prices.

We also say no

If a piece would do better with a specialist, we tell you.

FAQ

Everything else, briefly

Nothing. The examination and offer are free and carry no obligation, including if you decide not to sell.

Cash on the spot once we agree. Bank transfer the same working day if you prefer.

No. Both lift the price noticeably; their absence is never a reason to say no.

Yes. A stopped movement, torn strap, damaged crystal or water ingress lower the price but do not rule out a purchase.

Please don’t. Polishing removes metal, a service swaps original parts, a refinished dial can halve the value. Bring it as it is — dusty and stopped is fine.

Fine gold rate × hallmark (333 to 999) × weight. We weigh and test in front of you and show the calculation.

Yes. Valuations happen in a separate room, nothing is passed to third parties. Statutory record-keeping is unaffected.

Your piece and valid photo ID — required by law for precious metal. Bring any papers you have.

Yes. For large collections we come to you by arrangement, in Bonn and within roughly 50 km.
